Blogging is just not about publishing content, but its about gaining user trust, user opinions and involving more people and making them believe that the site is worth reading and tracking. In order to know the users nerve, bloggers have to read other peer blogs as I have mentioned in of the our previous blog posts.

Now, what role do comments  play and how important are they?

Commenting on a blog post or an article means: a compliment, an encouragement, criticism , sharing personal expression and so on. These expressions do play a significant role in shaping the future of the blog. ” User interaction is what makes a blog or a site lively”. These days, people are not towards static web pages but people love to interact with others in the community.

For bloggers: If you are a blogger, it would be a healthy practice to read other peer blogs, post and encourage them by leaving comments, sending them tips or suggestions, requesting for a guest post on other blogs etc. Once you have enough posts on our blog with decent traffic hitting your site you can request for an interview with top bloggers via email.

By this, you learn their experiences on the web and visitors of your blog gain important facts about noted bloggers.

For Visitors: Whenever you read a blog post  or  skim through a webpage do spend a minute or two to write your opinion about it via comments or email or other means. It helps the site owner to understand what people want from that site or blog.

” Comments bridge the gap between authors, administrators and visitors

So, do encourage any productive blog post, leave compliments. User interaction is life for a blog or a site.

So true.. I look at the traffic on my blog and it astounds me that out of the number of users that visit my blog there are so few that actually leave a comment.. I always love the feedback and comments, which to me is what makes blogging so worth while.. If I see a worth while post then i pretty much always leave a comment out of habit. Many more people should do the same thing..
