Now get Diggitlive updates right onto your mobile for free. Thats true! Google Labs India has launched SMS Channels, its a service that enables channels or groups on SMS. These Channels allows you to create your own channel(s) to publish content that other users can subscribe to. You can also create groups over SMS to communicate with your friends.

In order to subscribe to an SMS Channel or group,
- Visit Google SMS Channels.
- Choose a nickname.
- Provide your mobile phone, verify your mobile by entering the verification number your receive as an SMS.
- Browse through the channels and subscribe to the channels you like.
You can also create your own SMS channels by providing your blog rss feed URL or a google groups URL and let people to subscribe to your sms channel. Group messages can also be sent to the list of subscribers which is an added advantage!
