Secrets Part 2 -choosing Right Domain and the right web host

Sorry for the late post, was busy with my work . In this post i will share on how to choose a right domain for your project based on my experiences.
Choosing a domain name and web host company is the most important factor in starting your first project.
Tips in choosing a domain
1. Try to put your core services or product in your domain name. ( e.g For a cleaning company Brand X www.cleaningbrandx.com ) This is extremely important because your site will rank much higher for keyword cleaning because the keyword is present in your domain.
2. If you target users in your country its good to get your country’s tld ( e.g .com.sg for singapore .com.my for malaysia ) You can get better domain names compared .com which the whole world is competing for the domain.
3. If you are unable to get the domain names you want, you can include dashes between words. ( e.g cleaning-brandx.com )
4. Sometimes its worth to bid for a high priced domain as you can get domains that are very easy to remember such as cleaning.com.
5. Its good to have several keywords in your domain name. ( For e.g instead of using diggitlive.com, a domain with makemoneycomputer.com will be a better choice ) but its also good to have a brand and easy to pronounce name.
This is an example of the end result, Ranked 2nd in google without much seo work.
Tips in choosing a web host
1. If your target users are singaporean, get a web hosting company with a singapore’s IP address and sign up for a google webmaster account and change your search settings by geographical area. Your website visiblity in google will greatly increase.
2. If you are starting a project which you would like to target the whole world , get a good web hosting with good peering to a lot countries.

what if I chose a global web host and change the setting in my google webmasters tool. How does my webhost matter to the traffic I am targeting???
Hope you will clarify my doubts.
In google your selected country will have higher chance of appearing compare to your competitors but for other search engines the rules still apply.
