Third-party Ads on Google Adsense

I received an email a few days ago from Google Adsense and now they’re opened to third-party advertisers. This means a larger advertising inventory, also it will help Adsense publishers and advertisers to earn more from ad placements.

As per my knowledge, Google has accepted the following third-parties:

Advertiser ad servers: DoubleClick (DFA), Mediaplex

Google will accept more third-parties for it’s advertising program soon.

Controlling third-party ads

To control the display of third party-ads like contextual ads, you can use Ad Review Center. You can use it to block specific placement targeted ads from displaying on your site. To signup for Adsense’s Ad Review Center, click here.

Just a note: DoubleClick was acquired by Google, so it isn’t really third party.

I’m not sure if they did or not but they were planning to sell it as it’s a HUGE conflict of interest.
