Google is going Paid Reviews!?

A few days ago, Jeremy Schoemaker got an e-mail from an unconfirmed source stating that Google will be testing a paid/sponsored review service within the next couple of months with the help of beta testers via Adsense.
Google has already destroyed PayPerPost and ReviewMe a lot and if they launch their own paid reviews service within the next couple of months, it will solve all their problems plus it’ll certainly be a good business move for them. Google can now get a chunk of the revenue as well as have control over everything.
Some reasons why Google might start paid reviews service:
Huge amount of Advertisers
Google already has a large amount of advertisers on their shoulders and if they start paid reviews service via Adsense it will be able to tap even more advertisers on it’s shoulders.
Huge amount of Publishers
Google already has a huge amount of publishers on it’s side and paid reviews will boost it up even more.
Metrics
They currently have the best metrics(Pagerank, Adsense, Google Toolbar) to price a site for review. They are already using these metrics in Google Adwords for selling contextual ads and links.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Google launches their paid reviews service in the near future. I’ll be very happy if Google launches paid reviews service and would surely take part in it, who doesn’t want money? :p

It’s still a rumor and i am expecting it to be a real story.
I could agree with you that this would be a great money making option for bloggers, but then again - how about all those blogs which was dropped PR 0 for paid reviews (PayPerPost and Reviewme users)? Don’t looks fair… Firstly - they say that paid reviews are bad and then thinking of their own service??!! :-S Weird…
Google always looks for their own benefit.
