DiggItLive is going DoFollow

Welcome! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my Full RSS feed. You can also subscribe via Email and have posts delivered to your inbox. You also increase your chances to win prizes!

U Comment, I FollowNow you’ll comment and search engines will follow it from DiggItLive. I have recently installed a plugin on DiggItLive and it enables me to make comments ‘dofollow’ and remove the evil ‘nofollow‘ relation. :-D

To be able to make your comments’ links ‘dofollow’ you have to make atleast 3 comments in DiggItLive and dofollow attribute will be applied to your links, this has been done to protect the blog from spam and abuse.

So if you want search engines to follow your blog then comment on DiggItLive posts and enjoy! :D

Update: Since some people asked me link for the plugin, here it is : Lucia’s Link Love plugin.

Stumble it!

If a backlink to your site is nofollow then search engines won’t count it as a backlink. If it’s dofollow then they will count.

I just added the same plugin a few days ago to my site, so hopefully that will make more readers want to post comments. I need to do a post like this, though, so that they know.

Great idea for getting published as many users will only comment for the link juice, so can you tell me from where you got this plug in for making the comments do follows.

Ok. This is a fad. It will die as soon as the published do-follow blogs and sites are picked clean by the internet piranhas. But I do think that if webmasters are willing to process the comments submitted / limit the number, there could be a real benefit. after all, webmasters trying to promote their site will then post more comments, and think more about what they are writing!

I think do-follow adds new, refreshing points of view to a blog, making it seem more lively.

It has been very interesting to watch the Do Follow movement unfold. I think it provides a new perspective and certainly increases the overall comments received by any blog. However, it does place the onus on the moderator to take time to review each comment. I know from experience there can be a lot of junk that shows up. Luckily, there are a lot of filters available these days that remove the worst of the worst for you.

Best of luck with the blog and the comments!

I’m glad to see other people joining to dofollow revolution. Removeing DoFollow tags you will reward your comment user ! Regards
