How to Increase your Blog’s RSS Feed Readership

I was just channel surfing StumbleUpon today and i came across a Wordpress blog, John Cow. John Cow is using a plugin for Wordpress called MaxBlogPress Stripe Ad which displays a strip ad on the top of your blog. It is a single line of advertising message, a special note or other information right at the top of your blog. 
Really useful!
Lets come straight to the topic now.
I tested the plugin on one of my blogs today, Winkk. It gets a lot of traffic daily from StumbleUpon, varies from 5000-13000 unique visit daily! But my problem was that i couldn’t get enough people to subscribe for RSS Feed. Then i thought to install this plugin and test it.
After 4 hours of installing MaxBlogPress Stripe Ad plugin on my blog and adding “Subscribe to RSS” line in my blog i noticed an incredible increase in amount of RSS feed subscribers! The amount of subscribers were 10 before and now it’s 26!
So i highly recommend using MaxBlogPress Stripe Ad plugin for your blog if you have a lack of RSS Feed subscribers. If you have a lot of subscribers you can even sell links on your blog.
The best thing is you can even rotate different lines with it and you can specify the weight of the Ad. You can even change the settings to make the strip stick to the top of the blog even if the users scrolls up and down.
This plugin has a lot of benifits. Best benefit is to use it to increase your RSS feed subscribers. It helps you to get attention of your visitors. It’s a really good eye-catching plugin.
Today i have also implemented MaxBlogPress Stripe Ad plugin for DiggItLive.
You should use such type of strips on your sites which are not Wordpress. They are sure to get you more subscribers.

I still think delivering unique content is the best possible way to increase RSS subscribers. Another way is to participate heavily in forums and include your blog link in signatures. If you write good answers people are bound to subscribe to your feeds..
many ways to generate good traffic and subscribers
by the way where is the subscribe to comments check box? start using that plugin..
in my opinion,
subscribe via email is a better way to build up your readership since you are able to interact with them.
Sometimes I am blinded by my own RSS feeds subscriptions when there are too many on my RSS list

It is similar to the MaxBlogPress strip Ad but encourage visitors to tell friends about your site. We all know how important it is to get more subscribers.
If you have great content, your reader may help by telling their friends about it.

I have been using the stripe for quite some time. An I can say that its a good way to attract new subscriber.
Before this I use LC line, but I cannot create link, it’s just txt. So it up to us now in creatively use the stripe

It’s a great plugin, with an admin panel that not only allows you to add the ads/messages and assign them weight, but also modify color and text format. I have running on Celebratty and it looks like part of the blog:

I have a ’subscribe to RSS’ as one of the rotated ads, the other ones are clickbank campaigns, but I may just try the RSS one for a few days to see if I get the increase you are in subscribers.

Just so you are aware. I just tried to sign up for your newsletter via email and it does nothing. It will not subscribe me. This could be a reason for your subscribe base being so low.
